My name is Alysa Thatcher. I have been writing poetry since I was almost fourteen years old. Poetry for me is a way to express my feelings and emotions and to work out problems that I am experiencing. Poetry is also a way for me to express my testimony of Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ when I write as I am inspired by the Spirit. I am sharing some of my poems publicly now in the hopes that one of these poems will bless and inspire your life or help you to have a desire to come closer to God, our Heavenly Father, and to Jesus Christ.
